Only TWO weeks

Only two weeks remain….

Only two weeks remain until the end of sale-a-bration.  That means only two weeks remain to collect your free Sale-a-bration stamp set with every $100 order.   Only two weeks until the end of the Summer Mini catalogue.  Only two weeks to order your items from the Summer Mini catalogue (before those items possibly retire and may not be available again)

On a personal level- only two weeks remain for me to qualify for an Incentive available through Stampin’ Up! so now- MORE THAN EVER- your orders would mean SO much to me!

If I can help you out with your ordering needs- I  would love to hear from you….there are only two weeks!

Here is a card I created using a stamp from the “Whimsical words” stamp set. (One of stamps in the set that you can receive for FREE with every $100 order)

I have used the divine RASPBERRY TART designer series papers.  Just love, love, love this pack of patterned paper!

The greeting in the centre “happiness always” forms part of the free stamp set.  It might be hard to make it out in the photo but the background of this area has been stamped with a stamp from “Razzle Dazzle” in Pink pirouette.  I have punched out the greeting with the oval punch and layered it on the scallop oval punch.  Perhaps if I show you a different angle- it may be easier to see.  Oh and you can also see the lovely butterfly stamp from the “Dreams du Jour” Stamp set.

This is the inside of the card- completed by my son.  Note the use of the “Razzle Dazzle” stamp set on the background and also on the envelope.

I can’t wait to hear from you with your orders and or workshop bookings- In case you missed it- There are ONLY TWO WEEKS left!

Here are some more Easel cards for you.

This time I started with a 10cm by 20cm piece of cardstock.  I then scored at 5cm and 10cm.  Just as I did for yesterday’s card I folded on the score lines to create a base and a triangle  I took a second piece of cardstock cut to 10cm by 10cm and this was adhered to the front. The card front was decorate with the GARDEN WHIMSY STAMP SET  I used a technique known as MASKING to create the butterfly image on the front.  (If you want to know more- please drop me a line at  If you live locally this is something I could come and show you and your friends at a workshop!)

Here is the side view

I had so much fun making these- I made another few and added some FINE SUPERNOVA GLITTER using 2 way glue

Friends 24-7

As I am sure you can imagine- not every card or layout I ever create ends up on my blog.   Obviously there is the time issue but there are some things I like to keep to share with my loyal customers when I see them in person when they host workshops.

On the other hand- there are projects I plan to share on my blog and then I get busy and it slips my mind.  The following card is one of them!  I created this card some time ago.  Members of my team received variations of this card a few months ago  (By the way- For  more details about joining my team click on the “Become a demonstrator” link at the top of this page)    I really love how it turned out and photographed with the intention of sharing it with my blog readers.  I only just stumbled across it on my computer while I was looking for another photo.  Oops!

Better late then never- I guess!

I used the FRIENDS 24-7 Stamp set

My Christmas cards

Ahhhhh! – I hope everyone enjoyed a lovely Christmas yesterday and relaxing Boxing day today.  One of the kids asked me why it was called Boxing day and I told them it was because our house was filled with lots of boxes.   (It is only a white lie because the origins of “boxing day” does involve boxes- just not the mountains of boxes in our house!)   We still have lots of packaging around the house…and even gifts still inside the packaging and LOADS of toys and gifts that don’t have a home yet….I’m really not sure where I am going to put it all.  Next we are hoping that we will be celebrating Christmas in our new house (that we are building just up the road from here) Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Well- now that Christmas Day is over and (hopefully) everyone has received their cards then I can finally post my Christmas cards here.  This year’s design happened quite by accident.  You see I like to incorporate a photo of my kids on the front of the card.  This year I had 4 separate photos that I arranged in two rows of two photos (like a window with 4 window panes)  I had seventy images printed off but when I went to make my card I realised it was too large to fit on my card front nicely (and still be able to add a bit of embellishment)  I decided to make an INTERACTIVE card instead.  I cut each photo out individually and added them to a strip.  When you pull on the bottom tab the photos flip over one by one.

Here are some images to show you what I mean.  Heres is the front of the card…

Pull gently on the tab and the photo starts to flip up and over

Keep pulling down on the tab and the second photo is revealed…….

Up goes the second photo…..

……and the third photo is revealed

Keep pulling and the fourth and final photo is revealed.  The Christmas message on the tab has also been revealed.

Here are just some of my cards waiting for me to add my Christmas messages and address the envelopes! I hope everyone who received a card was able to work out how to flip the photos over.  (Jason- my helpful husband thought I should include operating instructions on the inside!)

The truth is that it wasn’t that tricky.  I would be more than happy to show you how! I have quite a few spots available for January.  If you book a workshop I would be happy to show you and your friends how to make a variation of this card.  January is also a great time to book a workshop because there are loads of stamps sets drastically reduced until the 24th of January!  Check out the savings to be made!!!  If you aren’t able to host or attend a workshop in January and would like to take advantage of these great specials, please feel free to give me a call or send me an E-mail.  I would be more than happy to process an order for you and I can have it shipped to you anywhere in Australia! OR (08) 90917655 or 0419 947 047.

Before signing off- here is a photo of my 4 cherubs with Santa!  Those with 4 children can appreciate just how tricky it is to get a photo with all 4 kids looking in the general direction of the camera.  Aren’t they cute?

When I saw the White Staz-on ink the SPRING Mini Catalogue I added it to my MUST HAVE list as it is the perfect kind of ink to stamp on the Stampin’ Up! cellophane bags. I could just imagine stamping gorgeous snow flakes all over the bags at Christmas time. I got the opportunity to show a few customers this neat ink however the Spring Mini catalogue ended before I knew it and I was really hoping to show more people. Can you imagine how thrilled I was when we received an update from Stampin’ Up! to say that this particular product would be appearing in the next main catalogue and we are able to continue to sell this item even though the Spring Mini has finished. There are a few other items that are still available too!

112534 Jumbo brads 5/16″ Neutrals Assortment $15.50
112533 Jumbo brads 5/8″ Neutrals Assortment $13.50
114889 Scallop Oval punch $30.95
106960 StazOn ink pad (White pad and refill) $22.95
109196 StazOn Cleaner $9.95

Anyway- back to the the white STAZ-ON Ink…..

Here are some cute little bags I made that were inspired by a project Bonnie demonstrated at Perth Regionals. I have stamped all over the LARGE cellophane bags using the snowflake stamp from WINTER POST

The little box inside is separated into 4 little compartments as shown

I then made an assortment of tags using various Christmas stamp sets which were placed inside the compartments before sliding into the cellophane bag and tying with ribbon.

A hostess received this cute little box in a cellophane bag as her little thank-you gift for hosting a demonstration at her place. Of course she was also able to select Stampin’ Up! merchandise of her choice and also able to select from a range of stamp sets only available to hostesses. Does this sound good to you? Please be sure to get in touch as I would be more than happy to conduct a workshop for YOU and your friends.

What a June!

Wow! What a June.  I blinked and now it is July…. but I must say I am happy to see the end of June and looking forward to a more pleasant July.   Sincere apologies for the lack of blog entries lately.   Thanks to those who have either rung or E-mailed me to check on me and let me know that they miss seeing stuff on here.

For those I haven’t spoken to- If it hasn’t been one thing it has been another.  It all started with problems with  my internet connection.  Geez- you don’t realise how much you use the internet when you no longer have access! You would think someone had chopped my right arm off!

Following that I also had a few issues related to one of my sons that I won’t go into her on my blog but it has been a very frustrating, upsetting experience that I don’t feel has been sufficiently resolved.

Then to add to that I have had issues related to my blog itself.

And….things have just been very hectic in general.  Today marks the last day of Term 2 for my kids and I am very much looking forward to a break in the routine and an opportunity to have some nice “family time” during the school holidays.

We are off on a bit of a break tomorrow and I an likely to have limited access to my internet- so I thought I would pop in here to let you know all is well….. just in case I don’t get an opportunity to make any blog entries while I am away.

But….. I have lots to show you so please stay tuned.  I’d love to show you some of the cards we made at the recent cardmaking workshops plus photos of the ladies hard at work.    I would love to show some of the creations we made (Hint Hint to the ladies who attended.  Please E-mail me a photo of your cards so I can pop them up on my blog! C’mon- be brave!)

Although I will be away for a little while I am still able to collect orders so please give me a call (0419 947 047) or send an E-mail ( if there is anything you need.  All orders over $100 will go into a draw to win a scallop square punch from me.  Winner will be drawn on 31st July.  Everyone who books and holds a workshop in July will also be entered into the draw!

Don’t forget that for all workshops held before the end of July that reach sales of $600, the hostess can receive an additional $40 worth of products on top of normal hostess benefits. My available dates are limited and it will be a case of first in best-dressed…so get in quick!

For those who are interested- my Christmas in July event is still going ahead- so please keep an eye on my blog for dates. (Will most likely be right at the end of July)

Easter Goodies

Today marked the last day of Term 1 for my biggest three.  We now have two lovely weeks of school holidays to enjoy.  My kids went to school armed with treats for their Teachers and Education Assistants.

I have made use of a few of the designs from the  Good morning Sunshine.  This designer series paper pack on page 134 includes the new in-colours Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, one of my all time favourites chocolate chip as well as summer sun.   The little Easter bunny is one of the stamp sets from the “Greetings Eight” Stamp set.   As the name suggests, this stamp set found on page 57 includes eight stamps which cover a variety of different occasions.  I have watercoloured the bunny using the Aqua painter- collecting the ink from the lids of the Stampin’ Pads.

The fun thing about these Easter treats is that when you lift the ribbon bow- the chocolate bar inside is revealed.  In this case I used small Cadbury fundraiser chocolate bars.

To show how this works- please check out the following example I made for one of my hostesses using a 150g Chocolate bar.

If you would like the measurements for either the fundraiser size treat box or the 150g Chocolate bar treat box- please drop me a line at  I am always happy to share ideas with my customers.    Alternatively why not consider hosting a workshop and I can show you and your friends how to make one of these.
