Towards the end of last year I had the great pleasure of presenting a few project ideas to several hundred fellow demonstrators at a Regional training event. I shared a few ideas using the Petite pockets die and it dawned on me recently that I didn’t get around to photographing and sharing on my blog. Here’s just one of the little samples I took along with me.
The picture above shows the Petite Pocket assembled. I have simply picked out some patterned paper (in this case the gorgeous paper from “Tea Time” simply scrappin kit) and run it through my Bigshot with the Petite pockets die. The flap could be held closed in any number of ways but I have used a designer printed brad. To assemble the little pocket you could use some sticky strip. In this case I didn’t use any adhesive- I just kept the pocket closed using a band I had made out of a strip of paper I had punched out using my Dotted scallop ribbon border punch. I did this so it was possible to slip off the band and open the pocket to reveal this……
A cute little travel sewing kit. There are obviously heaps of other ways you could use this cute little pocket envelope- I’ll be sure to share some more ideas!

No experience is necessary and all tools and materials are supplied. The classes are perfect for beginners but you can go home with something you’ve made that doesn’t look like it has been made by a beginner!
Whislt experience is not necessary there is one thing that is absolutely ESSENTIAL- Advance booking! This ensures that I have enough space for all participants and allows for preparation of materials. I only have limited times available for class preparation so I need to have advance notice of class numbers. Please note the RSVP date for each class. I have had occasions where I have had to turn away people due to reaching capacity so it is always best to book in earlier rather than later!
Address is supplied when you book your spot. Tea/Coffee/ Water and a light snack is supplied. Please feel free to bring your own drinks/ snacks if you wish.
Oh and Don’t forget that for every $100 spent on merchandise you can select FREE items from the Sale-a-bration brochure.
1. CARDMAKING NIGHT
WHEN? Sunday 19th February
TIME? 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start
DETAILS? THREE Cards (Pre-designed cards- All supplies and tools provided)
COST? $20 per person OR order and pay for least $120 worth of products on the night and you will receive your class for FREE

2. SCRAPBOOKING NIGHT
WHEN? Sunday 26th February
TIME? 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start
DETAILS? ONE 12 x 12 scrapbook page and ONE gift box. Please supply your own 13x 18cm (5′x7′) LANDSCAPE ORIENTATION photo. It is recommended that you bring a photo that is black and white so that it works well with the available cardstock and patterned paper choices
COST? $20 per person OR order and pay for at least $120 worth of products on the night and you will receieve your class for FREE

3. DAYTIME CARDMAKING CLASS
WHEN? Tuesday 28th February
TIME? 12.30- 2.30pm (Strict start and finish times!)
DETAILS? TWO cards (Pre-designed cards- All supplies and tools provided)
COST? $15 per person OR order and pay for at least $115 worth of products at the class and you will receive your class for FREE
Please note that you must make care arrangements for your babies/children as I cannot accommodate children at this event (Except Small infants sleeping in a carrier or on a blanket) Minimum class numbers must be achieved by the RSVP date for this class to go ahead.

This weekend my youngest child attended the birthday party of a sweet little girl who turned FOUR! I used the stamp set called “Topsy Turvy Celebration” from page 22 of the Summer Mini catalogue to make her birthday card! The patterned paper used on this card is from the designer series paper that is exclusive to ‘hostesses’ when they are redeeming their hostess rewards. The paper called “Cheerful Treat” is very girly so was a perfect choice for the card recipient
