Blooming with Kindness

I just stumbled across another card that I had photographed and gave away some time ago but had forgotten to share on my blog…. I hope you like it

I used another NEW stamp set from the NEW catalogue called “Blooming with Kindness” which I received as a gift at the Manager’s reception at Convention (one of those great perks of being a demonstrator)  The greeting I used from this set suited the recipient perfectly.

I had quite a lot fun with the “Colour Spritzer tool” which is on page 179 of the catalogue.   You simply pop any Stampin’ Up! marker into the tool and squeeze the ‘bulbous area’ which forces air past the marker and leaves a great ‘splattered’ look.  Simple but effective! :-)

Don’t forget to stamp on those envelopes too!

Father’s Day Cards

Yes I know! I know! It was Father’s Day a fortnight ago- so I am a bit slow in getting around to sharing “Father’s Day cards.   We had a nice day celebrating “Father’s Day”.  The kids were busting to give their Dad their own special gifts including handmade cards and vouchers, little gadgets and poems, drawings and paintings, baked goodies and even a toolbox.    According to our youngest Dad has spiky hair, he’s about 80, drinks beer everyday, likes eating nuggets, is really good at cooking sausage rolls and likes playing on his ipad (amongst many other special attributes) Oh and apparently his name is only Dad- Not Daddy.   We spent some time at the park riding scooters and in the evening enjoyed a family meal at a local restaurant with extended family.

So enough of my rambling……  Here is the card I gave my husband from us.

GREETINGS From “World’s Greatest” (Single stamp)

and “For my Family

This great stamp set allowed me to also make a card for “Grand-Dad” (my Dad)

SWEETLY PACKAGED

I’m so excited by a new range of products in our catalogues!

Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps!

I love to stamp on cardstock but now I get to stamp on cookies! How awesome is that!? You should have heard my excited squeals as I stamped the images into the cookie dough before cooking.

Voila! This was what I made! So simple! So easy!

The set I have is called “Holidays” but the others are also on my wishlist.  It is only $29.95 for a set of these stampers.  Please get in touch if you’re keen to place an order

Now of course when it comes to packaging- we have lots of ribbon and the good ol’ cellophane bags that I rave about.  We have the medium and large size which are 10.2cm x 15.2cm and 15.2 x 20.4cm respectively PLUS a new size 2.5cm x 20cm. (Hey not so good for cookies I know- but they are still worth a mention).

In addition to this, there is a fabulous kit in the catalogue called the “Season of sweets Designer kit”.  This little kit contains everything you need for packaging cookies as gifts.  The kit contains

-12 gusseted treat envelopes with a window to show the treat

- 12 clear food safe cellophane bags

- 30 clear stickers to secure cellophane bag and treat envelope flap

- 2 sheets of designer cardstock stickers to decorate

Sweet little baby prints

It is time to share some projects made with items from the NEW Catalogue.   Today I’ve decided to share one of my favorite types of papercrafting…..scrapbooking.

Oh isn’t that little darling just so precious!? After the day I’ve had with him today (now 4 years old going on 14!) – I was wishing I could turn back the clock to a time where he was like this! :-) (By the way- other than providing great genetic material I cannot take credit for the lovely photo- it was taken by the very talented Kelly Trow from Kelly Trow Photography)

So you’re probably wondering…….what has she used from the new catalogues? Firstly the strips on the page were made using paper and cardstock stickers from the “Merry Moments Simply Scrappin” Kit. You’ll find this on page 9 of the Holiday Mini Catalogue.  Obviously there are some other papers and embellishments in the kit with a more ‘Christmassy feel’  that would be ideal for making Christmas layouts and Christmas cards- but I wanted to show the versatility of these gorgeous Stampin’ Up! products.

The background paper is from the “Comfort Cafe” Designer Series Paper Pack.

The absolutely adorable stamp set featured here is called “Baby Prints” (pg 63 of the Annual Catalogue) I am looking forward to making some ‘new baby’ cards with this stamp set.

The little footprints and title were heat embossed using the NEW “Early Espresso Stampin’ Emboss Powder” (pg 32 of the Holiday Catalogue)

Please check back tomorrow- I have so much more I want to show you! :-)

It’s NEW CATALOGUE TIME!

Wow! I’m astounded it has been a few days since the release of the NEW catalouges and I am finally getting a chance to sit at my computer and update the details on my blog.

On Saturday it was so lovely to share the brand new catalogues with my lovely customers and friends.  Everyone agreed that Stampin’ Up! have really outdone themselves this time!  A huge thanks to those who were able to pop in an collect their copies on Saturday.   I know that there were a lot of people who sadly were unable to make it on the day.  If you’d still like a copy please don’t forget to contact me to arrange delivery/ collection.  I can also post copies anywhere in Australia- so please let me know if I can provide you with the truly divine catalogues.

In the meantime- please feel free to browse the new catalogues ONLINE

Simply click on the catalogue covers to view.  The Annual catalogue is the stunning catalogue with the pink bow and the holiday catalogue has the stunning Christmas ornament (that I can’t wait to replicate!)

I look forward to sharing some projects with you on my blog…so please stay tuned!
