P&C Fundraiser!

I am REALLY excited to be able to support North Kalgoorlie Primary School P&C Fundraising efforts by offering FREE products and commissions.  I am thrilled to be able to offer the school items that can be used for a variety of creative opportunities but also to have tools that will assist in the creation of literacy and numeracy activities!  The amount I am able to offer the school will depend on sales so can I please encourage everyone to check out the catalogue and/or come and visit my displays and demonstrations at the advertised times!  All orders placed before midday Thursday 29th November will contribute to the total.  The higher the total- the more I will be able to offer the school in FREE products!  Please support me in supporting your child’s school!

Happy “I do” day

Today’s card is a card I made for couple who were married recently.  One of those lovely quiet Weddings where they escape to a tropical island and come back with gorgeous photos and happy memories.

STAMP SET: “Word Play”, “Netting” Background stamp

PUNCHES: Boho Blossoms Punch, Bird Builder Punch, Dotted scallop ribbon border punch

OTHER: Embossing folder- Lacy Brocade, Silver Embossing powder, Brushed silver cardstock

Today I have two cards to share with you featuring the “Patio Party” Designer series paper.  Midnight Muse, Baja Breeze, Primrose Petals, Summer Starfruit and Whisper White are the colours you’ll find in this lovely pack of paper!     I quite like the colour combo and I’m really lovin’ that lovely Midnight Muse colour I’ve used on the base.   I let the strip of patterned paper do all the talking!  For this card I whipped out my Simply Scored Board to create the rosette on the front.  My new style butterfly punch is getting a bit of a workout too!

For the second card I wanted to shared with you today, I stamped an image from the co-ordinating “Make a cake” stamp set and coloured the cake in colours from the designer series paper!  A bit of bling finishes it all off!

Popping in to share something pretty today!  The flourishes, flowers and labels were an instant attraction when I first saw the “Everything Eleanor” stamp set in the Annual Catalogue.  I thought it would be perfect for scrapbook layouts- but haven’t yet had an opportunity to use it on a scrapbook layout.  Here’s a card though!

I’m starting to get into the Christmas spirit.  I’ve not actually done a lot to prepare..but it is on my mind and I’d love to help you prepare for Christmas.  I  just love Christmas time!  I have a Christmas tag making class coming up this Saturday and I have a few spots remaining-so why not consider booking a spot for yourself and start getting organised for Christmas. I also  have another fun Christmas class for later this month but I need bookings to be made THIS WEEK!

“Reindeer Poop” and “Rudolph spare noses”

I’ve been making my little packages of reindeer poop and Rudolph spare noses for  years and they are always a huge hit with both young and old.  Come along and make some little bags of Christmas fun for the Children’s school friends, for Christmas stockings or fun Christmas surprises.   15 little bags of Christmas fun for $25 OR 30 bags for $45

WHEN? Saturday 24th November
WHERE? Address supplied when you book your spot.
TIME? 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start
COST? $25 for 15 OR $45 for 30
DETAILS? We will be making and decorating bag toppers to go on top of 15 bags of Christmas fun for $25 OR 30 bags for $45.  I fill the reindeer poop bags with maltesers and the Rudolph spare noses with jaffa lollies- however the class fee does not cover the cost of lollies.    You will also be supplied with cellophane bags however you can fill them with your own lollies in your own time.    When you book your spot can you please indicate whether you would like to make 15 or 30 bags so enough supplies are ordered to cater for all participants. Can you also please indicate whether you intend to make only Rudolph’s spares, only reindeer poop OR a combination of both so the correct coloured cardstock is ordered.

IMPORTANT- I will obviously need to order the cellophane bags and more cardstock and adhesive than is normally required for a regular cardmaking class.  As a result I will be making 2 requests.
a) EARLY RSVP is required.  Please Book your spot by Thursday 8th November
b) Payment for the class is required in advance.  You can drop off cash in person or transfer payment into my bank account.

Please RSVP by Thursday 8th November to allow enough time to source materials

While I’m feeling ‘Christmassy”, here’s a Christmas card that participants made at a class last month.

I quite like the colour combination of Midnight Muse, Baja Breeze, Whisper White and a hint of Silver Glimmer paper (gosh I love that stuff!)   They seemed the perfect colours to go with the “Snowflake Soiree” stamp set that we used in the class.

I think this stamp set is perfect if you are looking for quick but effective Christmas cards.  The intricate design of the snowflakes are really beautiful and the detail makes your card look deceivingly ‘complicated’ …..but oh so pretty!  If you’d like to order this stamp set to make your Christmas cards- please get in touch with me on 0419 947 047 or

At the Stampin’ Up Convention earlier this year I was one of the lucky people to receive a prize in  the “Prize Patrol” (one of the many highlights of Convention) As part of my prize I received a stamp set called “Animal Talk” (page 35 of the Annual Catalogue)

I replicated one of the cards demonstrated on stage and used the same layout for 4 separate cards-   A Fun idea for some fun cards.

I love creating multi-coloured stamped images using our markers! A simple but effective technique!

If you love ‘fun’ cards- I’m sure you’ll enjoy one of my upcoming classes.

EVENT 2- “Fun birthday cards”

It is so handy to have birthday cards ‘on hand’- even better when they are handmade.  Come along and make some ‘fun’ birthday cards with us!
