Here’s a simple little card that I made in December.  My twins Erin and Adam attended the party of a sweet little friend from Pre-Primary.  I often wonder what would be the most “acceptable” thing to do with regards to “gift-giving”.   Should I buy two presents so each child can give a gift or do I spend a little more on one gift from both of them?   When we attend birthdays for family or friends I only ever buy one gift from the whole family but I wonder whether I should do things differently for ‘school friends’  After all when they are invited as guests they are usually invited as separate guests with their own separate invitations and separate goody bags etc.       I’m sure other parents of twins can relate to the dilemma…..or perhaps I just overthink things!

Anyway….In the end with the chaos in December I ran out of time to make two cards and buy two gifts.  My last minute solution was to make a card with two pockets.  Each pocket housed a gift card- one from each child who attended the party.

Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of the inside of the card but…. here is the front

I used a stamp from BUTTERFLY PRINTS and punched it out with my NEW Butterfly punch (Have you been in touch to order YOUR butterfly punch yet?) I also used pieces of patterned paper from the KALEIDOSCOPE Designers Series paper pack from the Summer Mini Catalogue
