A birthday card for Corey….or should that be Cory
Last weekend one of my children attended a birthday party for one of his best mates at school. Now bear in mind that it is not uncommon for me to make a card for someone and forget to take a photo. Well in this case I was SO impressed that I had rememberd to take a snapshot of the card before I got my son to write in it. As soon as my son saw it he said “Mum- there’s no ‘e’ in his name”. Eeek! I had made a card with his name on it and spelt it WRONG!!!!! My son suggested that I just give it to him anyway and apologise for spelling his name wrong. He even entertained the idea of stamping “I’m so sorry” but that obviously wasn’t going to happen any time this century! 🙂
So…… I started another card from scratch and kept this card instead (Thank goodness for the BIGSHOT!!!!)
…. Perhaps one of the kids will be invited to another birthday party for a child whose name is “Corey” spelt with an ‘e’.
