Yay! I scrapped!
Here in WA it is approaching the end of the school holidays. Having a little break in our normally busy routine has given me an opportunity to do some sorting out in my craft room. My room is too messy to photograph and share with you today but hopefully I’ll get it tidied up properly in the next couple of days and I’ll share some snaps. (I’ve been promising pictures to a few people! 🙂 ) Even though I don’t have craft studio photos to share- I’ve managed to get some scrapbook layouts done which I look forward to sharing those with you.
Here’s a layout of my oldest son. The photo was taken a number of years ago- but as I don’t scrap chronologically I don’t mind! In fact it is quite nice to look back on the photos and think about how much the kids have grown and changed.
The patterned papers featured in this layout are from the “Autumn Spice” Speciality Designer Series Paper pack. I’ve had lots of fun playing with the colour combinations and great patterns in this paper pack but the thing I love most about it is that the paper is textured and is heavy-weight like cardstock. If you’d like to check out this pack it is on page 21 of the Summer Mini Catalogue (link on the right hand side) If you would like to purchase this gorgeous pack of paper please keep in mind that it is only available until the 31st of July so please be sure to contact me with your order as soon as possible!
I had lots of fun using the patterned paper to cover some chipboard pieces from the “On Board Mix and Match Set” (page 135 of the main catalogue) Aren’t those trees cute!? There is a great mix of other chipboards shapes in the pack and it is SO easy to customise them to suit your project simply by covering them in patterned paper or just pressing them into your ink pad!
The stamped sentiment it’s good to dream” is from a stamp set called “RAZZLE DAZZLE” (page 69 of the main catalogue)
