From vintage to fun and bright!!

Today I have yet another layout to share with you! I’m ABSOLUTELY lovin’ being able to get back into my scrapbooking….in case you hadn’t noticed that already!!!!  I really love working in my new “studio” (sounds fancier than a ‘craft room and sorry still haven’t taken photos…but I will…soon! )   Yesterday the layout I shared with you had a very ’vintage’ style but today I’ve gone for fun and bright….and VERRRY pink!

The patterned paper on the base (the layer on top of the Kraft/ Crumb cake cardstock) and also the patterned paper strips under the title are from the “Sweet Stiches Designer Series Paper Pack”.  This paper pack is on page 6 of the Mini Catalogue that ends on the 31st of July.  If you’re liking the decorative patterned paper then check out the “Nursery Suite Speciality” paper pack on page 124 of the main catalogue.  You receive 2 pieces of this Regal Rose decorative paper as well as 2 sheets of a decorative blue paper and matching papers that are perfect for baby pages!

The title is made with chipboard letters from “On Board Alphabet soup” page 135 of the Main catalogue.  To work with the colours in the patterned paper I simply pressed the letters into my “Rose Red” ink pad.  The flower on the left hand side is also chipboard and comes from “On Board Mix and Match“.  In this case I’ve used a combination of ink as well as covering the chipboard in patterned paper.  I love how the chipboard in these packs come ‘raw’ so that you can coat them and colour them to suit your projects perfectly!

To finish off my page I added some paper daisies (page 140) , clear buttons and self adhesive rhinestones  (page  140)  Ah gotta love a bit of bling especially for those girly pages!
