My little ‘work of heart’

I haven’t shared a scrapbook page in a while so today that’s what I’m going to do!  I love my cardmaking but my scrapbook pages are a really a ‘work of heart’ ;-)

I  made use of the “Tickets and Tags” Simply Scrappin’ Kit and some “On Board” Chipboard (“Merry Medley” and “Alphabet soup“)

On this particular day Luke was wearing a blue top but we only had a red hat as we were on holidays and didn’t have his entire wardrobe at his fingertips.  The hat wasn’t exactly the best choice for his outfit but protecting my kids from the sun is more important than colour co-ordination.  Let’s just say I was pretty pleased when I printed out this photo and found that it worked quite well with the colours in the kit.  Even the lady sitting behind Luke in the train was kind enough to wear black with polka dots to work with the adhesive stickers in the kit.

I love how the “Tickets and Tags” Simply Scrappin’ Kit even has a little journalling block.  I could have handwritten directly onto the journalling block but opted to run it through my printer instead

These kits honestly make it so easy to create your pages.  If you’d like to see more of the kits available- please check out pages 132 and 133 of the main idea book and catalogue

  1. Ha ha ha – love that cooperative background lady! What a beautiful page – haven’t really noticed the kits, must go have a squiz through my catalogue as the colours are just gorgeous.
