It’s your Birthday, Pretty Princess!

Stampin’ Up! reported to Demonstrators that to date, with the sales of the Bushfire Appeal stamp sets, they’ll be able to donate $58,131.68 to the Australian Red Cross Victorian Bushfires 2009 Appeal. Thank you for your efforts to help those who’ve suffered from this tragedy.

Today I have a card to show you that I made for the daughter of a good friend of mine.  She turned Three yesterday and I made a card for her using the “Pretty Princess Set” and also “It’s your Birthday” both of which are on the retired list.  The main colours used were Perfect Plum, Certainly Celery and Sage Shadow.  For this type of image if you plan to use either Blender pens (pg. 150) or an Aquapainter to apply colour it is best to stamp the main image in Staz on Black ink (pg. 150) as it will not run like a plain black ink might.  For best results use Watercolour Paper (pg.133)  It is hard to see in the photo- but I have also used Dazzling diamonds glitter (applied with 2 way glue) on some sections of the image!

We hope you had a great day yesterday Emma! It was lovely to be able to share it with you!
