Thanks to the ladies who attended the cardmaking workshops this week. I hope you had a good time and I look forward to ‘touching base’ with you soon!  I’m looking forward to a little get together to celebrate the release of the new idea book and catalogue (Stay tuned for details!)  Can you believe the new catalogue is only 2 1/2 weeks away!? I know many of you are ‘almost’ as excited as I am!

I think my little one Luke (11mths) is catching the stamping bug too! At least he had a great time stamping my floor with an Old Olive Stampin’s Spot yesterday morning.   I hadn’t got around to getting everything packed away after the workshop on Wednesday night.  I thought everything was out of reach but he managed to get hold of the stampin spot- pulled the lid off and then crawled around the floor with the Stampin’ Spot in the palm of his hand.  Thank goodness our main living area is tiled and not carpet and it washed off the floor easily enough!  I just wish I had thought to get the camera to take a photo of his little square trail and inky fingers!

I have a quick card to show you that I made for one of my sisters.  She likes bright colours- so I thought the “Bali Breeze” patterned paper would be a great choice for her.  I made use of the Eastern Blooms Stamp set from the Summer Mini (I am REALLY hoping it makes it into the new idea book)  I applied colour to the stamp using markers to achieve a multi-coloured effect!

  1. Hey Miriam
Thank you for the fabulous card making workshop, i really loved it and have been so re-inspired by you and Sampin’ Up this year to get back into my scrapbooking and now too to make cards and tags etc. Can’t wait to hear the details for your little get together for the new catalogue… (hmm, are you teasing us on purpose?!!!!) In the meantime am looking forward to receiving my ‘extra’ order (may have to consider joining up too at this rate just to save some money as I can’t seem to resist buying more and more stuff!) Thanks Miriamxxx
