Makeesha’s colour Inspiration Challenge #7
Posted in Cardmaking on 05/24/2009 08:01 pm by adminToday I decided to try Makeesha’s Colour Inspiration Challenge #7
I couldn’t resist using the gingham patterned paper from Bella Rose as one of the main features as I thought it was a good match for the gingham fabric on the bed coverlet. I was inspired to use Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette, Certainly Celery and Tempting Turquoise. I have used the Boho Backgrounds stamp set on the cardstock base and the greeting comes from Party Hearty! I love how the scallop circle punch is a great fit for this stamp.
I think if the colour combo works so nicely on the bed it was definitely going to make a nice ‘pretty’ card. Hmm…… speaking of beds I must get off the computer to make my own kids beds before bedtime!

I love the TemptTurq borders you’ve added to this card. I also love spots and checks together too.
