One of my all time favourite stamp sets for boys cards and layouts is “EXTREME ELEMENTS” (page 60) It is so easy to use and has become a bit a of a ‘go to’ stamp set when I want to add a more masculine feel to a card or layout.

With the release of the new catalogue last September I fell head over heals in love with “NEED FOR SPEED”.  As soon as I saw the quad bike, racing car, speed boat and plane on page 61 I just HAD to buy it as I knew it would be perfect for my 3 boys and I knew it would look fabulous teamed with Extreme Elements.

Here are a couple of boy birthday cards I’ve made using these two stamp sets (Oh and the stamp set “Grunge Rock” also features here too- also on page 60 of the catalogue_

Check out that adorable little face! It’s hard to believe that little guy is now 7 years old! How time flies!  Speaking of time flying- please don’t forget that TOMORROW is your last opportunity to order items from the Autumn/ Winter Mini Catalogue.  It’s not too late to place your orders! I am happy to receive calls or E-mails from you with you orders until 8.30pm (WA time) tomorrow.  All orders over $100 are eligible to receive the FREE ribbon and buttons bundle!

My layout today features the lovely Autumn Spice Speciality Designer Series paper that I have shared on other projects recently. Tomorrow is your LAST chance to order this lovely paper before the catalogue finishes and these items are no longer available!

Another item that is in the Mini Catalogue that finishes tomorrow is the “Motor Cycle” stamp set.  This versatile single stamp is so much fun for MALE cards and layouts.  I used this stamp set on a card for one my nephew who celebrated his birthday this month.

The colours on this card were inspired by the patterned paper I’ve been using recently! I’ve used the stamp set called “Extreme Elements” to create a background.  Initally I felt quite intimidated by using this stamp set.  I loved the ‘look’ that is acheived but thought it would be tricky.  Honestly it is SO easy to create a grungy/ boyish look with this stamps set.  I think the colours worked nicely with the metallic cardstock base.  Do you like the birthday greeting on this card?  This stamp is one from a set of 13 birthday greetings called “Bring on the cake!”  You’ll see it on page 13 of the Autumn/ Winter Mini Catalogue!   Did I mention that the Autumn/ Winter Mini Catalogue ends tomorrow? 🙂

Kids- A scrapbook layout

Thanks for checking back today to view my Scrapbook layout.  Here are my 4 little darlings 🙂  The photo is a little old but I don’t scrap in chronological order so I’m OK with that!  It is just nice to have a little moment in time captured in the photo and displayed on the layout.

The base of the layout is Kraft  oops Crumb Cake.  I thought I would be used to the new name by now! I made my own patterned paper (The panel on the left hand side) using “Extreme Elements” Stamp set and this allowed me to select colours that matched the colours in the photo….it is one of the advantages I love about using stamps on scrapbooking layouts!

COLOURs: Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, Basic Black,  Basic Gray

STAMP SET: Extreme Elements, Word Play

BIG SHOT and Accessories: Elegant Lines Embossing Folder, Timeless Type Junior Alphabet

OTHER: Scallop Edge Border Punch, Hodgepodge Hardware, Window Sheets, White Staz on
