One of my FAVOURITE sets from the Spring Mini would have to be “Great Friend”. I think it is the kind of stamp set that is great for cards and scrapbook pages. I just love a set that is versatile!

Here is a card I designed using this GREAT FRIEND STAMP set and also “Walk in the Park” designer series paper from the SPRING MINI. (Only a little over 3 weeks until this mini catalogue finishes) When inking up the butterfly I used Pretty in Pink Ink. I then used a sponge dauber dipped in Regal rose and tapped this around the edge. It is my cheaters way of doing the “rock and roll” technique

Here are a couple of cards I have made using some items from the Spring Mini Catalogue. I have used the”Great Friend” stamp set and “Walk in the Park Designer Series Paper” for both cards.
For this first card I also added the gorgeous Curduroy Buttons in Kiwi Kiss. I just love the texture and the way that they add that little something extra. As you can see this card was for a friend who recently celebrated her 30th Birthday. The ‘30′ on the card are the on-board chipboard numbers which have been coated in Supernova glitter and a layer of Crystal Effects. We had such a wonderful time helping her celebrate her birthday.

For this card the base was a Baja Breeze Carousel note and I used the same technique for adding a bit of bling to the chipboard number.

Did you notice that both cards feature some lovely ribbon? Just a couple of ways you could use some ribbon on your own projects. Don’t forget to get your qualifying order to me before the end of September to receive TWO FREE Rolls of ribbon (please see the previous entry for further details)
Well I hope you have enjoyed these bright spring projects. I must get off my computer and get some packing done. We are off to the closest coastal town to spend a weekend with a very special friend.
